Santa Clara County Library District offers two ways to scan items: the Scannx BookScan Center and the ScanPro station for microfilm.

Scannx BookScan Center

  • Touchscreen controls and 10-key pad
  • Flatbed scanner
  • Converts scanned images into searchable PDFs, Word, JPEG, TIFF and PNG file formats
  • Scan documents, books and images
  • Send scanned files to email, USB drive, iPad, iPhone, Google Docs, printer, and email
  • Color images

ScanPro microfilm scanning station

  • On-screen magnifier
  • Able to read microfilm and negatives
  • Scan to OCR, Scan to Print, email or USB
  • 150 to 1200 dpi, 256 grayscale, bi-tone
  • Optical zoom lens 6.9 to 54S, electronic zoom 54 to 105X
  • Image adjustment, rotation, flip, mirror, crop and rotation
  • Black and white, and gray scale
