Distinguished Author Series

The Santa Clara County Library District (SCCLD) is proud to host the yearly Distinguished Author Series. SCCLD welcomes writers whose works spark thought-provoking ideas and conversations. These barrier-breaking authors come from different and diverse backgrounds, with stories that will captivate and inspire. Each author talk will be followed by an audience participation opportunity for questions and answers.

The Distinguished Author Series is Free and open to the public.

Silicon Valley Reads

Silicon Valley Reads is a community engagement program that features books and an annual theme to bring people together by providing more than 100 free, public events each year in February and March. Events for all ages include author talks, book clubs, art/music events, community activities, arts and crafts, movies, and creative events or activities based on the theme each year.
