On Sunday, March 12th, 2023, the film studio A24 made Academy Awards history by being the first film studio to triumph in the six "top" Academy Award categories. The studio produced the films that won Best Picture, Best Director and all four acting categories. This has never been done before in the 95 year history of the Oscars. Additionally, Everything Everywhere All At Once became the first film to win three acting trophies along with Best Picture and Best Director. Previously, both Network and Streetcar Named Desire had won three acting Oscars but neither film won Best Picture or Best Director.
