Pride Month is Coming!

Pride Month is a month long celebration that started in order to honor the 1969 Stonewall uprising in Manhattan. According to The Library of Congress, "The Stonewall Uprising was a tipping point for the Gay Liberation Movement in the United States."  Every year in June people celebrate the impact and contributions of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer community (LGBTQ+). Traditions include pride parades, memorials, book displays, and more.  We would like to invite you to join us in preparing for Pride Month with a special virtual discussion on celebrating diversity and promoting inclusivity. In partnership with The LGBTQ Youth Space.
