April brings us Earth Day and warmer spring weather, so this is a great month to get outside and enjoy nature! Stroll through the UC Botanical Gardens at Berkeley, opens a new window and take in the wonders of the natural world. Plants are green, flowers are blooming, and the Botanical Gardens are offering free passes for download on Discover & Go!
When reserving passes, remember:
- You must be 18 or older to reserve a Discover & Go pass.
- You must live within the Santa Clara County Library District service areas.
- If your zip code is outside the SCCLD service areas, check with your home library. Many libraries offer Discover & Go!
- You can reserve up to two passes at a time. Passes are registered under your name and can only be used by you on the date specified.
With Discover & Go passes, you can visit educational exhibits, institutions, and museums across the Bay Area without worrying about entrance fees. Museums and more provide several free passes each month for library users to reserve.
Children can explore interactive displays at the Bay Area Discovery Museum, Exploratorium, and Children's Museum of Sonoma County. Visitors of all ages will enjoy exhibits at the de Young Museum, Golden State Model Railroad Museum, Lindsey Wildlife Museum, San Jose Museum of Art, Pacific Pinball Museum, Tech Museum, UC Botanical Gardens at Berkeley, and many more!
