Woodland Library Welcomes Patrons Back Next Week

Mark Your Calendar for Monday, June 21!

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CALIF. – The Santa Clara County Library District (SCCLD) is happy to announce Woodland Library will reopen on Monday, June 21. Patrons are welcome to come in for full browsing, holds pickup, and more. The library will be open Monday through Saturday from 1-6 p.m., excluding holidays.

“We are thrilled to welcome patrons back to the Woodland Library,” County Librarian Jennifer Weeks said. “Next Monday, we invite our patrons to enjoy browsing Woodland’s full collection, use the public computers and printer, or stop by to pick up items placed on hold.”

For patrons who used Woodland Library as their primary location to place holds, they will be able to select Woodland for holds pickup starting Thursday, June 17. Patrons may change their holds pickup location by logging into their account on the SCCLD website. This option is found under My Settings/Account Preferences.

Visitors are encouraged to use the self-check machines to check out items. They will need to have their library card with them, or know their library card number and PIN to use these self-service machines. Call (408) 540-3945 for assistance with account questions.

“I want to send a shout out and a thank you to library patrons for their patience while services at Woodland Library were temporarily suspended,” said County Supervisor and Library JPA Board Member Joe Simitian. “With vaccinations on the rise, COVID-19 cases on the decline, and capacity restrictions lifted, Woodland Library can safely resume the quality services their patrons have come to know and appreciate.”

Curbside service is not available at this location, but is available at the Los Altos, Cupertino, or any other SCCLD location offering curbside holds pickup. Appointments can be scheduled online.

Further updates will be made on Facebook and the SCCLD website.
