Film Discussion Group (Online, for Adults)

Are movies your thing? Looking for something to talk about besides what you baked yesterday?

Join us for the last week of this spring's film discussion group (with more to come in the summer!).

Each series features a weekly film selected on a central theme: Fearless Female Leads, Science Fact and Fiction, Slightly Unhinged: Eccentric Characters and Films to Open Your Mind, and Documentaries.

Watch the movie on Kanopy before the group you want to attend, and then join the discussion on the specified day. Follow one or more series, or just pick and choose the titles that appeal to you!

Don’t have the Kanopy App? It’s easy to use!  Find the tutorial here: https://sccld.org/resource/kanopy/, opens a new window

Please note:  This series provides the opportunity to explore diverse and complex films. Due to adult content and mature themes, viewer and participant discretion is advised.
