Restaurants and the Pandemic: A First Hand Account

For an on-the-ground, firsthand account of the pandemic on the restaurant industry, join a discussion with Gayle Pirie and John Clark, executive chefs and co-owners of the world renowned restaurant Foreign Cinema in San Francisco. The event will be held on Monday, February 22, 2021 at 7:00 PM. They will discuss the impact that the pandemic has had on them and their strategies for longevity, perseverance and relevance during such challenging times and for what the post-pandemic world might bring. 

John and Gayle will also discuss their food philosophies, favorite recipes, and evolving menus as well as their latest 2018 cookbook The Foreign Cinema Cookbook, Recipes and Stories Under the Stars, voted one of the Best Reads from NPR in 2018.
