The Distinguished Author Series Featuring Acclaimed Writer Mitch Albom

Bestselling Author and Journalist will be Featured in December

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CALIF. – Santa Clara County Library District’s annual Distinguished Author Series aspires to bring together diverse writers whose words strike a chord with readers and spark ideas and thought-provoking discussions. Join us on Friday, December 1 at 11 a.m. at the Orchard City Banquet Hall in Campbell for an enlightening talk with acclaimed author Mitch Albom.

“The versatility of Mitch Albom is unparalleled, as he has covered a variety of genres in the fiction and nonfiction fields of writing,” said County Librarian Jennifer Weeks. “He made a name for himself as a renowned sports journalist, touched our hearts with the beloved memoir Tuesdays with Morrie, and enthralled readers with The Five People You Meet in Heaven. This is a wonderful opportunity for our community to learn about Mr. Albom’s brand new book, The Little Liar.”

Albom’s latest novel, The Little Liar, explores honesty, survival, revenge and devotion in a story set during the Holocaust. It is a timeless story about the harm we inflict with our deceits, and the power of love to overcome the most tragic of circumstances and redeem us in the end. The Little Liar will be released on November 14, 2023.
