You can now choose to receive library notifications to your mobile phone or tablet by SMS messaging! SMS messaging will allow you to receive your notifications by text* message. Text notifications are delivered once a day, around 9:30am. Notifications include hold notices and reminders, due date reminders, overdue notices, autorenewal success notices, and billing notification. Keep in mind, these notifications are for physical materials only, not for digital items like downloadable eBooks or Audiobooks.
To opt-in to SMS notifications or update your notification preferences:
- Call the Accounts team Monday-Saturday 10am-6pm at 408-540-3945
- Visit your local library's Accounts desk during open hours
- Use the online form at sccld.org/cardrenewal/ to update your notification preferences
