Yes. Pausing your hold will keep your place in line until you are ready to resume.
If you would like to delay the processing of your hold request, you can let us know by pausing your hold. When you log in to your account, click on 'Holds' to view your holds. If you would like to pause a hold, click on the box to the left of the title, then click the 'Pause' button located at the top of the holds list. Click the calendar pop-up and select an end date. Click 'Yes, pause holds' button. Your hold is now paused.
You can make your hold active again, before the end date of the pause, from this screen as well. Click on the ‘Paused’ tab, select 'Resume'. Your hold is now successfully resumed, and you will resume your place in line.
