Voting Open for Teen’s Top Ten of 2023!

Vote from August 1 through September 30 for the Teens' Top Ten contest!

Every year YALSA (Young Adult Library Services Association) creates a "teen choice" list of favorite books from the previous year, chosen by teen book groups from around the country. The teen librarians of Santa Clara County Library District want to hear from you too! Starting August 1st, ballots are available at each Santa Clara Count Library District location or you can vote by using the form below. Which of these books are your top ten? Browse the online catalog or visit your local library to borrow or request titles from the list of nominees. There's no required reading - but the more you read, the better you'll know which books you want to vote for!

How To Participate:

  • Vote by September 30 using the form below or in person at any SCCLD location.
  • One form submission per person.
  • Choose up to ten books from this list or write in your own (has to be a 2022 or newer teen book).
  • All ballots will be entered into a prize drawing.
