Community Room Usage Requirements

Please read and adhere to the following when using the Campbell Library's Community Room:

Reservations

  • Should include time to set up and restore the room.
  • May be made up to 90 days in advance, on a first come, first served basis.
  • If the meeting is cancelled, please notify the library by calling 408-866-1991 during library open hours.

Frequency of Use

  • Groups (a minimum of 10 to a maximum of 125 people) may use the room once a month.
  • Meetings sponsored by the library of the City of Campbell have priority use of the meeting room.

Use of the Room

  • The person who has booked the room should check in at the Accounts Desk on the upper level of the library upon arrival.
  • Please make sure attendees enter and exit through the library's public doors.
  • The group is responsible for arranging the chairs and tables before the meeting and for putting the chairs and tables back after the meeting.
  • Noise level should be appropriate for a library.
  • Please pick up any trash and place it in a trash can or take it with you.
  • Nothing should be posted on walls or doors, and all windows should remain closed.
  • Please ask for assistance in adjusting the room temperature.
  • Please turn out the lights, close the doors, and notify the library staff when you leave.
  • Groups shall provide any equipment needed beyond the tables, chairs, screen, and dry erase board that are included with use of the room.
  • High voltage equipment is not allowed.
  • Incense, candles, and other open flames are not allowed.
  • Wireless Internet is available.
  • The Library's Behavior Policy applies to the Community Room.

Meeting Room Usage Requirements

Meeting Room 1 Usage Requirements

  • Meeting Room 1 is for groups of 1-2 people.
  • Groups must read and adhere to the following usage requirements.
  • Reservations may be made online for up to 30 days in advance.
  • A group may book the Meeting Room 1 once per day for up to 2 hours.
  • Individuals or groups must limit their reservations to one per day. If the same group makes more than one reservation in a day’s time, subsequent reservations may be cancelled. The same restriction applies to multiple members of the same group; please do not make multiple reservations using different library cards on the same day.
  • If you do not arrive within 10 minutes of the start time of your reservation, the reservation is canceled and the room may be reserved by someone else.
  • Please exit promptly at the end of your reservation so the following user may begin the next reservation time.
  • Covered drinks are permitted.
  • Food is not permitted.
  • Please do not cover the windows.
  • The Library's Behavior Policy applies to the meeting room.

Meeting Rooms 2 and 3 Usage Requirements

  • Meeting Room 2 and 3 are for groups of 2-4 people.
  • Groups must read and adhere to the following usage requirements.
  • Reservations may be made online for up to 30 days in advance.
  • A group may book the Meeting Room 2 or Meeting Room 3 once per day for up to 2 hours.
  • Individuals or groups must limit their reservations to one per day. If the same group makes more than one reservation in a day’s time, subsequent reservations may be cancelled. The same restriction applies to multiple members of the same group; please do not make multiple reservations using different library cards on the same day.
