Voting at the Library: A Convenient and Accessible Option

Have you ever considered casting your vote at the library? Election day will be here before you know it on November 5. By voting, you can help to ensure that your voice is heard and that your community is represented. Libraries play a pivotal role in supporting democracy by providing essential resources and services to their communities. They serve as hubs of information, education, and civic engagement.

  • Access Information: Find online tools, resources, and information with the library's Voting Resources Guide. Learn about the upcoming local and national elections, polling locations, and deadlines to ensure you are prepared to participate in the democratic process. 
  • Register to Vote: Whether you're registering for the first time or need to update your registration, we have voter registration forms. Anyone who has not registered to vote yet can do so online, opens a new window for the next election.

During the upcoming election, several Santa Clara County Library District locations will serve as 11-day and 4-day voting centers:

11-day Voting Centers from October 26th-November 4th, 2024, from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

  • Cupertino Library - Rooms 201A & 201B
  • Milpitas Library - Auditorium
  • Saratoga Library - Community Room

4-day Voting Centers from November 2nd-November 4th, 2024 from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

  • Gilroy Library
  • Morgan Hill Library

Additionally, all five library locations will be open as Voting Centers on Tuesday, November 5th from 7 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Ballot boxes will be located outside the building at most library locations except Campbell Express Library until November 5th at 8 p.m.
