Changes Coming to Rosetta Stone Accounts

We want to let you know of an important change coming to our popular language learning online service, Rosetta Stone. Starting in November, Rosetta Stone will be migrating its service platform. They have not given an exact date for this update. This should not affect the content, but will reset user progress and require users to re-create their accounts.

Important Information for Rosetta Stone Users

  • Users' progress and accounts will be reset.
  • Users will need to re-register their Rosetta Stone account through the library website after the platform migration.
  • The new platform's user interface should look and act the same as the current one. Rosetta Stone will continue to offer the same content, with some updated imagery and cultural stories.

Prior to the Migration and Account Reset

We recommend that users record their last activity prior to November, and keep track of any progress until the reset, as we do not yet have an exact date when the reset will happen.

Steps to Identify your Last Activity:

  • You will find your Unit at the top left of the screen.
  • Below that will be your Lesson.
  • Your Activity will be just below the Lesson number.
  • Make note of your Unit, Lesson, and Activity, and save it outside of your Rosetta Stone account.
