2026 Bookmark Art Contest Winners

The 2026 Teen Bookmark Art Contest theme was "Plant A Seed. Read!" All the following artwork was turned into bookmarks distributed at the Santa Clara County Library District Community Libraries. Congratulations to all our winners!

They are sitting on grass with a leafy tree overhead and the words "Plant a seed, read." Underground is a small brown animal and the words "Good stories grow beautiful minds!"

2026 Bookmark Contest winner Kaylee S. from Morgan Hill. The bookmark art shows three scenes of mother and daughter pairs holding hands and walking towards the library's front doors. The first scene shows a mother with a small daughter, the second scene shows the daughter as a teen, and the third scene shows the daughter grown up as an adult holding the hand of her own small daughter. A tree next to the library grows from sprout to sapling to tree showing the passage of time.

A vine with many leaves and flowers grows from the worm's head. The leaves have the words Adventure, Creativity, Wisdom, and Knowledge written on them. At the top of the book mark are the words "Plant A Seed, Read!" and at the bottom of the bookmark are the words "Grow and Bloom."
