Join Santa Clara County Library District's Summer Reading Program: "Plant A Seed, Read!" and grow with the library this summer! Sprout new ideas by picking up a great book, learn, and have fun at library events. Our program this year offers something for everyone, including adults, teens, and children. All are invited to join June 1 through July 31. It’s free and fun for all ages!

Look Forward To

  • Events for kids, teens, and adults including crafts, book clubs, and more!
  • Earn badges all summer by logging your reading and activities in Beanstack.
  • Earn a prize* for reading 5 books and completing one activity this summer!

*Prizes will be available starting August 1 while supplies last.

How To Join

  • Beginning May 1, you can sign up for the reading challenge online in BeanstackYou can also download the Beanstack app for your mobile device.
  • Beginning June 1, log in on Beanstack or pick up a reading log in the Library to start tracking your progress.
  • June 1 to July 31, earn badges by reading and completing activities!
