We’re halfway through an unforgettable season of reading and growing. The Santa Clara County Library District’s (SCCLD) Summer Reading Program: Plant a Seed, Read is still going strong! Since June 1st, patrons of all ages have been logging their books, completing activities, and attending special library events.

If you’re already part of the challenge, keep going! There’s still lots of time to read and plenty of exciting programs to be a part of at the library. The challenge officially ends on July 31st. Prizes will be available for pick up from August 1 to 31, while supplies last*.
If you haven’t started yet, there’s still time! Stop by your local SCCLD library to sign up, or visit us online to get started instantly.
We also have a few exciting new raffle prizes to offer for people who are registered for Summer Reading!
- We are going to be raffling off San Francisco Giants Summer Reading Ticket Vouchers! These vouchers are good for 2 View Reserve tickets to games throughout the summer. They must be redeemed by August 31st.
- We also have free tickets to “Brick Blast” to give away, a huge Lego fan convention in the Bay Area! It features massive Lego builds, interactive displays, and activities for all ages. The convention takes place on Saturday, August 22nd.
To be eligible to win these raffle prizes register for Summer Reading. You can do it either in person at a library or online. If you’re already registered, you’ve already been entered to potentially win! Winners will be notified by email on Tuesday August 4th. They will have until Sunday, August 9th to pick up the prizes at their library.
