SCCLD libraries will take part in celebrating our democracy with National Voter Registration Day, which occurs on Tuesday, September 15. This is a coordinated effort across the nation to get eligible citizens registered to vote!
All of our libraries have voter registration forms available, so please ask at the information desk at your local library branch to get one. Some of our libraries are also holding Voter Registration Day events to encourage people to sign up to vote! These events include:
League of Women Voters Voter Registration Drive at the Cupertino Library
- The League of Women Voters Cupertino-Sunnyvale will have volunteers staffing a table in the Cupertino Library Lobby from 10am to 6pm helping Teens* pre-register and Adults register to vote.
National Voter Registration Day at the Gilroy Library
- It's National Voter Registration Day and we're here to help YOU get ready to vote! Stop by our volunteer-staffed table in the library lobby to fill out your application.
*Teens ages 16 and 17 can pre-register to vote in the next election for when they are 18.
