As part of Silicon Valley Reads 2026, Bridges to Belonging, we are excited to launch our Community Cookbook Project!
Food, and the act of sharing it, has long been one of humanity’s most meaningful ways of building and sustaining connection, both within families and throughout our communities.
Do you have a family recipe you’d like to share? Perhaps it’s a dish passed down through generations that connects you to your heritage. Maybe it's a recipe gifted by a friend that brings back happy memories. Or it might be something you created yourself, reflecting your identity and the values you carry with you every day.

Beginning Thursday, January 15th, we will accept recipe submission(s) along with the story behind each dish for consideration for the cookbook. Submissions will remain open until Tuesday, March 31, 2026. Please note that recipe submission is not a guarantee of selection.
