About the Art Piece

Artist Sheri Simons has created a unique glass art piece titled "Lines of Sight" (2026) for the new Campbell Library. The imagery is drawn from her research on the city of Campbell, including parts of its history and environment.

The art piece was commissioned by Campbell Library. It covers the two-story wall of the library next to the windows by the Orchard City Green. Visitors can view the art from different angles and times of the day to see different colors and shadows cast on the wall.

Lines of Sight

The colorful art piece covers the wall two floors tall. It includes fourteen glass panels of different size and colors. The panels cast shadows on the wall behind them.
"Lines of Sight" from the viewpoint of the lower floor. The art piece can be viewed from both the upper and lower floors of the Campbell Library, and through the window from the Orchard City Green.
