The Santa Clara County Library District (SCCLD) welcomes all, providing inclusive and compassionate library services throughout the district.
Interpreter Services
In accordance with the requirements of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (“ADA”), the Santa Clara County Library District (SCCLD) will generally, upon request, provide appropriate aids and services leading to effective communication for qualified persons with disabilities so they can participate equally in the Library’s programs, services and activities. Please fill out this online form to request American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter services. Although SCCLD will try to secure an interpreter at any time, 7+ days advance notice will offer the best chance of securing an interpreter for the specific library program or event.
If you need assistance submitting the online request, you can speak with a staff member at your local library during normal open hours, call (408) 540-3945 Monday-Saturday between 10am-6pm, or email us at ask@sccl.org.
