New Hours Start on Monday, July 12
SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CALIF. – The Santa Clara County Library District (SCCLD) is happy to announce SCCLD community libraries will once again expand hours of service on Monday, July
12. This gives patrons more opportunity to visit the library to browse the full collection, use the public computers and printers, reserve an available meeting room or just stop in for a comfortable place to read.
“Offering additional service hours gives our patrons more options to come by the library at their convenience,” County Librarian Jennifer Weeks said. “Many of our locations will open at 10 a.m. on most days, and will all open at 10 a.m. on Saturday offering up to 18 additional hours a week to enjoy the library.”
The new hours are as follows:
Cupertino, Milpitas, Los Altos and Saratoga Libraries
Monday - Saturday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Campbell Express Library
Monday – Thursday, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Friday – Saturday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Morgan Hill and Gilroy Libraries
Monday – Wednesday, 1 – 6 p.m.
Thursday – Saturday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Woodland Library
Monday – Saturday, 1 – 6 p.m.
SCCLD is targeting Fall to resume evening hours and service 7 days a week.
Curbside holds pickup is still available for those who prefer contactless service. Patrons may make an appointment on our website.
Since the library serves everyone in the community, including children who are not eligible for the COVID-19 vaccination, visitors need to be COVID-19 symptom free and wear a face covering, regardless of vaccination status, to enter.
