288p. Gr. 10+
Nitasha is so tired. She’s tired of the expectations from her parents, comparisons with her perfect doctor brother, and stress from wanting to fit in at school. On top of that, her best friend seems to have a new best friend and her crush was just using her as a tutor. The pressure from everything gets to her, so she turns to alcohol and self-harm as an escape. This, of course, doesn't actually help Nitasha. After a bad accident, she begins her journey towards healing and breaking the stigma of mental health within her South Asian community. This story was inspired by the author’s own life experiences.
