Popular Science Fiction Writer Kim Stanley Robinson To Speak on: “The Power of Imagining”

WHAT:  Acclaimed American science fiction writer Kim Stanley Robinson will speak on “The Power of Imagining,” and discuss how fictional writings can help readers envision the future and explore new ideas.

WHO: Author of 19 novels and over 40 short stories, Robinson has received more than 20 awards including winning the prestigious 2016 Robert A. Heinlein Award, an award given each year for exceptional published works in science fiction and technical writing that inspires space exploration. Book titles by Robinson include the eco-novel Green Earth, a new version of the Science in the Capital series, The Years of Rice and Salt and the Mars Trilogy

The event is free and open to the public.  No reservations required.   An audience Q & A and book signing will follow Robinson’s talk.  Barnes & Noble will have a variety of his titles available for sale.
