System Software Upgrades Scheduled

What:  Systems software upgrades are scheduled to be implemented at all Santa Clara County Library District (SCCLD) locations from Sunday evening, May 31st to Thursday morning, June 4th.  All SCCLD locations will be closed on Wednesday, June 3rd in order to facilitate the changes as quickly as possible.

Who:  Service interruptions due to the upgrades will affect those library card holders who wish to visit the libraries or access these libraries remotely during the five days of software improvements.  SCCLD locations include:  Campbell, Cupertino, Gilroy, Los Altos, Woodland Branch, Milpitas, Morgan Hill and Saratoga Libraries.

When: From Sunday evening, May 31st to Thursday morning, June 4th individuals will not have access to online library accounts and phone renewal of materials.

From Sunday, May 31st to Tuesday, June 2nd individuals will be able to: pick up holds, borrow and return items, use public computers and access our Wi-Fi network.

For faster service when borrowing items, individuals should be prepared to show their SCCLD library card to staff.

Why: Systems software upgrade enhancements will include a fresh new look for SCCLD’s online library catalog and improved search functionality.
