Teen Summer Reading Programming 2021

Summer is almost here, and the SCCLD Teen Services Librarians are so excited to share our summer programming line-up with you! Programs will be held every other Thursday at 4pm throughout summer. Patrons must be 13-18 years old to sign up.

June 10th at 4:00pm: Virtual Museum Tour – Join us for a private virtual tour of The Walt Disney Family Museum! This program features a walk through the Museum’s galleries, and a discussion about Walt’s early projects, the art of animation, good storytelling, and the technological innovations that made classics like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. June 24th at 4:00pm: Manga Show and Tell – Looking for a place to talk about all your favorite manga? This manga show and tell is not to be missed! Discuss all your favorite titles with people e who love manga as much as you do! Click here to sign up.

July 8th at 4:00pm: Teen Trivia – Join us for a game of trivia for teens! Just grab a pen and paper, round up some teammates, or join in by yourself. We will have questions on a variety of topics. Teams can have no more than 5 people. Click here to sign up.

July 22nd at 4:00pm: Henna Body Art –  Please join us for a virtual program all about henna body art. Participants will learn about the history and tradition of henna and have the opportunity to create a design on paper or themselves with natural, organic, chemical free paste! You will be able to pick up henna at your specified library between 7/19-7/21. Click here to sign up.
