Teen Summer Reading 2022 Grab and Go Craft

This year’s Summer Reading Program theme is Read Beyond the Beaten Path. The SCCLD Teen Services Librarians are giving out weekly Grab and Go Craft Bags to help the Teens of Santa Clara County celebrate and create this summer! Each week’s bag will feature a different craft with instructions and supplies included! All bags will be handed out on Thursdays on a first come first serve basis, and are only for patrons ages 13-18. 

6/9: Post Cards – Start summer off right with this set of watercolor paints and paper to make your very own masterpiece!

6/16: Lanyard – Learn how to easily weave a stylish lanyard with just a few supplies.

6/23: Constellation Jar Lamp – Explore the stars and space from the comfort of your own room with this easy to assemble constellation lamp.

6/30: Duct Tape Flower Pen – Spruce up an ordinary pen by making an eye-catching duct tape flower.

7/7: Wooden Bookmark – Never lose your place in your favorite book with this durable, hip bookmark.

7/14: Rock Cactus – Relax and paint a beautiful rock cactus you’ll enjoy forever and never have to water.

7/21: Paracord Bracelet -  We give you all the supplies you need to weave an attention-grabbing, paracord bracelet. Wear it yourself or give it away to a friend.
