Student eAccounts – Online Library Access With Your Student ID

Did you know that all students who opted into the Student eAccount program with the Santa Clara County Library District have a free library account that provides access to quality information and resources online anytime? These free sources include databases for research, language learning courses, online tutoring, news articles and more.

Download eBooks from popular authors like John Green and Marissa Meyer, graphic novels like Naruto or check out an eMagazine. Stream movies, TV shows and watch as some of your favorite books come to life using Kanopy Kids. Try our music streaming/downloading service Freegal to hear the latest hits from today’s hottest artists.

Get homework help with Brainfuse, an online service offering live tutoring, test preparation and writing assistance. We also offer Science Online for questions about scientific and mathematical disciplines through definitions, essays, diagrams, biographies and experiments.

These and more great resources are available to you now using your eAccount. All you need to do is go to student.sccl.org and enter your account number. Student accounts are created using your Student ID and school district initials in this format:

S _ _ _ _ _ _ GUSD   (use the initials for your school district in place of GUSD).

The pin number is birth month and birth day, for example May 1 is 0501.
