STEAM Club-Art + Math

Join us on Tuesday, April 27 at 4 pm on SCCLD Facebook for two art projects using math.  You can also view the program on the SCCLD Facebook page after the program as well.

The first activity is Abstract Art with Squares.  Use 12 different size squares to create fantastic pictures!

Create Tessellation Art in the second activity. A tessellation is a pattern of shapes that fit perfectly together.  The pattern goes on forever without gaps of overlaps.  Learn how to make a tessellation pattern piece, then create a masterpiece!

What supplies do you need?  Colored paper (contrasting colors work best), cardstock or cereal box to make grid and patterns, pencil, ruler, scissors, glue stick, and markers.
