Women - Making It Happen

Author Julian Guthrie will be joined for a panel discussion with the four extraordinary women who are the “Alpha Girls” – Mary Jane Elmore, Theresia Gouw, Sonja Hoel Perkins, Magdalena Yesil -- moderated by Mercury News columnist Sal Pizarro. Presented with Commonwealth Club Silicon Valley and De Anza College.

Doors open at 6:45 p.m. No tickets or reservations required. First come, first seated. The adjacent Euphrat Museum of Art will be open 6:30-7:30 p.m. and remain open during the book signing for free viewing of the exhibit “Women Pathmakers.” The campus bookstore will sell books before and after the program, and the author and Alpha Girls will sign books after the program. Free parking in Lot A beginning at 5 p.m. See campus map.
