Novels Through Letters

Do you love to get mail?  Epistolary novels can be written in a series of letters, notes, emails, journals or text messages.  These novels are presented as memories with an emphasis on feelings and emotions.  They are creative and entertaining.

Dear Reader ... Fiction by Mail

A novel written entirely in lists and notes that focuses on how far a man will go and the risks he will take to save his family and bookstore.  He shows how love can make us both brave and vulnerable at the same time.

Inspired by a true story, the book follows the efforts of a Civil War veteran to uncover the truth about his teen wife Placidia,  who during the two years he was at war was convicted and imprisoned for allegedly giving birth to a baby that she murdered. Told through a series of letters between Placidia and her cousin Mildred.
