Back in March when the County of Santa Clara implemented a shelter-in-place order due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Library decided it was best if patrons kept library materials until a time when it was safe for patrons to return them to the library. During that time, patrons did not incur fines for keeping the materials past their original due date and we will continue to waive the late fines past July 31, but ask that the materials are returned.
Those items that were borrowed on July 10 or earlier are due on July 31. All items borrowed starting July 10 are subject to a 3 week borrowing period. In the coming days, we ask that patrons please return materials that are due to the library using our curbside service Monday through Saturday from 1pm - 5pm.
No appointment is needed to return library materials, but they can only be returned into the special library return bins during curbside service hours.
