Learn to Meditate with the Headspace App

Trying times call for good self care, and the Headspace app is here to help. Headspace is meditation made simple - an app designed for busy, modern lives to learn the essentials of meditation and mindfulness in just a few minutes a day. Available for cardholders from the Santa Clara County Library District's Online Library 24/7, Headspace offers hundreds of guided meditations on a variety of topics - from stress reduction and improving sleep, to focus and personal performance. Sessions include short 1-3 minute breaks, 10-minute meditations, and advanced deeper-dive meditations. This skills-building program is based on authentic techniques honed over thousands of years and is supported by an in-house science team that continuously studies the impact of Headspace, partnering with top research institutions and companies around the world.
