January Health: Exercising for a Healthy New Year!

Was getting into the habit of exercising your New Year’s resolution?  The library has you covered! There are plenty of good reasons to stick with an exercise regimen beyond the couple weeks or so that New Year’s resolutions typically last (let’s be honest).  According to the Mayo Clinic, regular exercise can not only improve your overall physical strength and conditioning, but can also boost your mood, promote better sleep, improve cognitive function, and lower the risk of death from pretty much all causes.  Whether you are an exercise novice, or have more well-developed fitness goals, the library has what you need to support your healthy habit.

Some exercises don't require that much physical strain, learn how to do some basic Breathing Exercises by signing up for our virtual event on Friday, January 28, 2022 at 11am.
