Happy Earth Day! COVID-19 Leads to Less Air Pollution

Reports are coming out all over the world about how sheltering-in-place and travel restrictions, especially the grounding of aircraft and the temporary closures of factories, have led to substantial reductions in the amount of air pollution. 

It started with NASA posting satellite images of China's air clearing amid the slowdown in late February. The article The Day the Earth Moved from The Progressive talks about Earth Day and how the coronavirus has affected air pollution around the world.
