Many national and community agencies have curated COVID-19 resources for members of the LGBTQ+ community. Our own County of Santa Clara Office of Lesbian, Gay, Transgender, and Queer Affairs is working hard to keep their resources updated. Visit the links below for more information.
County of Santa Clara - Office of LGBTQ Affairs
This page includes resources for medical care, mental and social health, homelessness, and employment, as well as the ability to submit questions if you have a concern not addressed by their list of resources.
Human Rights Campaign - An Update on Gender Affirming Care During the COVID-19 Pandemic
The HRC lists medical and mental health resources, including many hotlines and talklines for LGBTQ+ community members of all ages.
Human Rights Campaign - Direct Online and Phone Support Services for LGBTQ Youth
This collection, which includes both phone and web-based resources, is specifically for LGBTQ+ youth.
Pronoun Dressing Room
During Shelter-In-Place, gender non-conforming folks may be in living situations where it is harder to have their pronouns routinely respected. The HRC link above for LGBTQ+ youth has several resources for affirming online communities, but if you'd like to explore pronouns on your own, step into the Pronoun Dressing Room for pronoun-affirmation!
