Self-banished with little company but the snakes on her head, Medusa is lonely. She spends her days walking the deserted island and waiting for her sisters to fly back for the evening. This four-year long pattern is broken when Perseus lands onshore with bronzed skin and a gleaming sword. She’s careful to keep her distance. They talk with a stone wall separating them, ensuring that Medusa’s monstrous secret is hidden. Secrets and past traumas are divulged. And then, declarations of love are confessed. But as they bare their hearts, their intertwining destinies threaten the happy ending Medusa so desperately wants.
