Santa Clara County Library District will be hosting an event where the first-ever Santa Clara County Youth Poet Laureate will be selected.
After a county-wide search with many participating poets, ten finalists were announced, opens a new window. During the commencement, their work will be celebrated as well as the announcement of the Santa Clara County Youth Poet Laureate winner, opens a new window.
The Santa Clara County Youth Poet Laureate program is sponsored by the Poetry Center San Jose, Poets.org, San Jose Public Library Foundation, Santa Clara County Library District, Santa Clara County Poet Laureate, SV Creates, and Urban World
The master of ceremonies will be award-winning poet, Terisa Siagatonu, opens a new window.
