Our online version of the World Book Encyclopedia has recently added new content for young children. Starting with our Kids and Families Page, then on to the Kids' Online Library page, there is an A-Z Resources page. Scroll toward the end to locate the World Book Encyclopedia and their new Early Learning offerings. After logging in with your library card, you will find four different types of fun, engaging educational activities for your preschool child:
Videos - Watch a whole host of kid-friendly short videos from elephants drinking water with their trunks to real bulldozers in action.
Games - Play educational games including tracing the letters of the alphabet with baby animals.
Stories - Read picture books along with an audio track or read at your own pace.
Activities - Print off many different fun pages including dot to dots, mazes, and coloring sheets.
