February is Black History Month, an annual celebration to recognize the achievements of black scientists, writers, actors, inventors, politicians, activists, and other innovators who have played a central part in creating the history of the United States. There are countless ways to celebrate these individuals and their contributions this month (and every month) -- we think one of the best ways is through reading their work and learning their stories.
